INSTALLATION GUIDE / METHOD

Firmware Instructions
Firmware installation can be done either using an SD card or directly into the NAND miner with the help of the VNISH TOOLKIT. Identify your Control Board : Click Here to Download PDF This L9-Unlock file contains the Unlock L9 tools and resources required for seamless setup and usage. It includes all necessary files to unlock, configure, and optimize your L9 system for installing vnish firmware. This 2024-Unlock file contains the official stock firmware required for Bitmain models such as S21+ ,S21pro, S21xp, S21_imm, S21xp_imm, S21_hydro, S21+hydro, S21xp_hydro, T21. Users must first flash this stock firmware from the latest version before installing Vnish custom firmware. SD Card Installation: • Use an SD card (maximum 16 GB, formatted to FAT32). • Download the SD image for your control board and ASIC model, then unpack it and read the included installation guide. • Standard control board slot types: - SD slot on the outside (Xilinx SD version) - SD slot inside the control board (BeagleBone BB version) - Micro-USB slot on the outside (Amlogic version) - CVitek (SD slot on the outside) Insert the SD card with VNISH firmware and power on the miner. If the SD card is removed, the BITMAIN firmware will return (for Xilinx and BeagleBone boards only). Amlogic Control Board Installation: • For Amlogic boards (a113d), you’ll need an OTG adapter. • Download the AMLOGIC SD (OTG-USB) file, unpack it, and follow the instructions. • To update an existing VNISH installation, download the WEB version of the firmware and apply it through the UPGRADE function. • If power consumption during overclocking exceeds 4600W, you must UPGRADE the POWER SUPPLY (refer to the unit’s finalization guide). NAND Installation (No SD Card or OTG Adapter): • Download the firmware from the “INSTALLATION IN NAND WITHOUT USING SD CARD” section for your miner model and control board. • Installation requires the VNISH Toolkit utility – download it and follow the included instructions. • After rebooting a miner with a CVitek control board, the stock firmware will reappear. You’ll need to scan the network using the VNISH Toolkit (or Phoenix-Scanner in the background), and the VNISH firmware will be restored automatically.
